About Sussex Vision Ltd
- THE FIRST SEVENTEEN
YEARS
We set up Sussex Vision over seventeen years ago to serve the Eye
Care, optometric and
gemmological fields. We have personnel trained in the areas of design and manufacture of
equipment within these fields. Used to working with the professionals in both disciplines
our aim is to tailor our products to complement the skills of such professionals at an
economical price.
Our low Vision Aid Service is second to none. We can supply any prescription telescope, mounted in one of our standard frames, within 24 hours even with a patient overlay correction. There is no limit to the power of the Rx correction required.
Our spectacle mounted L.V.A.s are designed to be sturdy but attractive. Our standard frames are supplied in two sizes and three colours (both Men and Ladies versions). Telescope bodies can be supplied in grey or black.
Testing sets are offered on a sale or return basis for practitioners to try out the system before final commitment.
A catalogue of our entire LVA range, including magnifiers, spectacle mounted units and hand focus devices can be supplied.
TEST TYPES
Although Sussex Vision are suppliers of traditional acuity Charts we have designed, and
produced, our own special range based on the very latest illumination technology and
lamination methods.
We employ 'prism reflection' in our modern Slimline Test Type range making them uniquely slim. The Domiciliary version is so compact that they will pack into a briefcase. Standard and ALL PURPOSE 6 M VERSIONS both manual and I.R. remote control are available.
All of our Test Charts have been made to be non-reflective; this we believe, is an essential requirement for the particularly unpredictable conditions met on the domiciliary visit, although, even our Test Room 6 metre charts are non-reflective.
TRIAL CASES ETC.
Sussex Vision market a full range of Trial Lens Sets, both reduced* and full aperture in wooden
case and briefcase. Trial lens sets are supplied in a number of
forms, some included with portable or Domiciliary Refraction kits
(Portable Home refraction Kits).
*This Set is to the latest International ISO
standards for holder dimensions and lens
accuracies, CE marked and with aluminium rims similar to that of the very
popular RAYNER sets.
Sussex Vision also supply Vertex Distance Gauges and Trial frames (Oculus and Sussex versions) to complement these sets. All three of the DAMATO Fieldscreeners.
Sussex Vision have spares of most types of trial lens in stock. Rayner, Curry and Paxton & Ellis.
OTHER EQUIPMENT
Sussex Vision
are manufacturers of the Maddox Phoria Measure, Vertex Distance Gauge,
Occluders, Wide Field Testing Sets and a unique range of Near and
Distance Vision Tests. We supply Sports Vision equipment and Optical
Dispensing equipment. The iCARE TONOMETER as well as
the Tonopen.
