The Pelli - Robson Contrast Sensitivity Charts utilise letters of the same size but with reducing contrast to provide a quick means of assessing a patient's contrast sensitivity thresholds. For use at one metre distance and particularly useful for evaluating visual function of those with 6/6 Snellen acuity, but who complain of poor, or 'hazy' vision nevertheless, such as in cases of cataract, glaucoma, and retinal/optic nerve pathology. The recommended luminance of the chart is 85 cd m-2 (i.e. illumination of approx 280 lux).
Two charts are supplied with a different sequence of letters, together with instructions for use and a scoring pad. Spare scoring pads are available with catalogue number SSV-281-PP.
Dimensions: 97 x 82 cm.
