It's 0.76x magnification and wide field of view make it perfect as the primary high resolution slit lamp fundus diagnostic lens. The lens has been specifically designed for increased working distance from the cornea (7.0 mm), making it more practical than competitive pan fundus lenses. It's 30.2 mm diameter housing proves to be highly useful for dynamic fundoscopy, allowing the lens to be more easily manipulated which in turn effectively increases it's dynamic field of view to 116 degrees.
